I am a newbie to nitro and have just purchased a Kyosho Inferno mp 7.5 sports rtr. I have followed the instructions that came with it but I cannot get it to stay running. If I put a bit of fuel in the carb it will start and run for about 10 seconds then cut out, if I keep the throttle open it runs for a bit longer but still cuts out after a while. Can anybody help me with this problem, I am really frustrated having had the car for two weeks now and cannot run it in or take it out. Please email me with any suggestions you may have. Cheers

hey. id suggest that you tune the carberator. im not an expert, but it sounds like youre running either too lean or too rich. there should be a place to do this on the carb with a screwdriver. if all else fails take it to the nearest hobby shop mate.

Yes there is fuel in the tank and I have set the carb up according to the instruction manual, all the pipes are connected correctly but it will still only run for a few seconds and then cut out.

If you got the carb set for what the manual says for breakin, it should aleast run, check for air leaks in the gas lines, and tank, make sure the carb is tight to the engine, check to make sure head bolts are tight. Have you primed it. Sometimes a weak glowplug will make it act like that, just because the plug is new doesn't mean it good.
